At Dimension Computer, We fix a lot of HP laptops with these Models with video issues. DV2000, DV4000, DV6000, DV9000. All of these models have a video flaw that causes the notebook to display no video after a year or so. Basically, its a bad design from HP that the video chip does not have adequate cooling. You don't have to throw out this notebook, we can fix it. We have to refloat the BGA chip (video chip). We do this job just about every week. See this video on youtube from a company that has a fix for this. We do this similar type of fix, but we dont use a torch to heat it up. We charge a flat fee for our Saint Louis based customers and we can turn this around in 48 hours. Thanks for checking us out. Please give us a call or an email. We have two stores. One in Ballwin in 63011, and one in South County on Tesson Ferry near mattis road for computer service. 63128 zip
